Exercise Execution Workshop
On Saturday, we had our first Exercise Execution Workshop at Synergy.
This is something I’ve wanted to do for quite a while, as it’s a subject I’m particularly passionate about. As exaggerated as it sounds, most people simply aren’t training properly – or optimally – to achieve their goal.
Workshops like this allow us to take time and develop a deeper understanding of resistance training, and the “why” behind what we do.
In this upper body focused session, we touched on:
- Muscle Origins and Insertions
- Muscle Actions & functions
- How to apply this to a training session
- Perfecting key exercises
- Optimal Hypertrophy Strategies
- How to incorporate heavy lifting with flawless execution
Personally, I massively enjoyed helping everyone out with this and having the opportunity to pass something on.
